Valentine Babymoon

Luke planned a trip for our Valentine's Day weekend.  We went down to St. Augustine, FL (about an hour away) on Friday and spent the night there.  Saturday, we did all kinds of fun touristy things in St. Augustine.

We stayed in a cabin at the KOA campground on Anastasia Island.  The cabins were SO cute and cozy (and they had heat, which is all I really needed).  We made hamburgers, green beans, and S'mores for dinner Friday night over the campfire and then snuggled up in the cabin to play games.

On Saturday, we started out the day with breakfast at The Oasis and then headed over to the Ripley's Believe It or Not museum.  We spent hours in there taking in all the weird stuff.  By the time we got out of the museum, my feet were killing me, so we decided to hop on the tour train.  We took in lots of St. Augustine history while seated on the train.  That is, until we arrived at the Whetstone Chocolate Factory.  We just couldn't resist.  I mean, it's Valentine's day weekend....gotta have chocolate.  We took a tour of the factory and ate plenty of chocolate.  By the time we got out of the shop with our chocolate raspberry gelatto and chocolate peanut butter fudge in hand, the day was almost gone. There is still lots to see in St. Augustine, so I guess we'll have to go back again sometime soon.
