For Such a Time as This

I have been reminded today in my devotions that God has put me in a certain place and in certain circumstances for a reason.  I can sometimes forget that each step Luke and I have made through life whether a graduation, a move, a job opportunity, orders, or a pregnancy, God has a purpose.  It is my destiny to be right here and right now just as much as it was God's purpose for Esther to be on the throne when it was decreed that all Jews be killed. 

"And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"  It was very obvious to Mordecai of why Esther was chosen by the king to become queen.  It wasn't so obvious to her.  Just so, it's not very obvious to me why I am where I am in life.  Just having finished nursing school, getting pregnant, and then the having the future of moving to the other side of the world, I have been having a hard time figuring out what I'm supposed to be doing right now.

 I am very encouraged by this verse in Esther and another in Acts 17:26,27.  "He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us."

I am seeking Him!
